@DailyProfits Are you running all 5 or looking at resale opportunities?
@Centurion_2K Do you have a Node? If so is it up and running? I looked at it but don’t have the TB’s to make it cost effective. I was also concerned that they did not have demand for the all nodes they sold. Interested to hear more!
@Centurion_2K I would be curious to hear more about DeNet. I have a lvl 26 watcher node and cannot tell you why, but I religiously launch every couple hours. I am a trained monkey.
When I spoke to @arbawk he mentioned this could be for any project, not just projects sold by Moken.
I say post whatever is interesting to you, but do not look at it as a place to farm referrals.
Martin - What is your concern about the DeEEP device/project? Not trying to call you out or anything, genuinely curious.
@Xrave Very close to nice low to pick up some ENT
https://dexscreener.com/solana/bmqaswyd6zw6xpyyquoeowphfhtoeq1bsybebzxwt6gj
You can track the price on that link
@Xrave As always, you are a wealth of knowledge Xrave, a gentleman and a scholar!
@GeoCKC If you are hitting that , but it’s the same route for 60% of the miles is that still effective for the project?
How many miles a day/week/month does a person need to cover to be an effective deployer?
How is data quality measured?
How much does one need to drive to get a 12 month or so ROI?
Could someone develop software that uses your data, leveraging the watch as a “DePIN” project? That could probably work and probably has already been thought of and/or done.
I found them useful as I was recently getting into DePIN. My friend Andy was the first one I really liked. I do believe he only shills what he believes in. I like grumpy, rough around the edges but honest. Brad from Depinconnection is fantastic, I think he is super trustworthy. Tactical investing seems slimy. Those are really the only ones I pay attention to.
@Xrave you are my influencer of choice! <3
@arbawk https://shop.terraflora.io/products/terraflora-home-miner-grow-smarter-earn-rewards
I am having a hard time finding the actual website with doc’s, but pretty I was able to in the past.
Are you guys looking at the soil one?
What about the node one that JD talked about as the “DeEEP Killer”?
I think a lot of this will depend on earnings related to the device. If the current price the hardware has an “Acceptable” ROI people will pay the price. If a devices ROI pushes 18-24+months I believe people will pause.
This is a great question and one I have thought of myself. If you are purely just about making a profit/speculation then buy the coin.
I believe part of the appeal to buying hardware is actually feeling like you are part of the project. It also comes with a greater sense of belonging to the community. Many of us appear to enjoy the “tinkering” aspect to DePIN. It just feels better when there is some work/$$$ involved, skin the game.
Would most of us be better off financially just buying the coin? Probably…
You just add your wallet address.
@wisewolf Has anyone confirmed this? I do not see a role for hole miner or anything.
@arbawk More ability to access when away from desktop. Accessing from browser on phone is clumsy at times.
Does actual utilization impact rewards at all or will all gold level folks get the same reward?
@dbome Similar boat here. That’s a long time for a lot of things to happen, both good and bad.
Props to Rob Solomon, he is in the Discord trenches taking questions.
Looks like we will be able to pay sub with with $DIMO in the future

More info from Rob
There needs to be a maybe option. Will depend on token price, other partner involvement, etc.. If I had to say today with what they offer I would say no, but alas I have 1.5 years left :)
@Centurion_2K Look at the post by Rob Solomon - Announcements - DIMO discord
When you bought your device the website said that connectivity would be provided for 1 year (autopi), 2 years (r1), or 3 years (macaron). That will be honored. That implies it's not free after that time.
I am holding judgement on this.
This is my analogy. If I wanted data on my car and was told buy to buy a device, I would xx months free but there would be subscription after it would not seem that out of the ordinary. If I was then told that I would get rewards that could possibly offset my subscription fee that would be great. I am still getting the value out of the app that I may have paid for otherwise.
I see this as DIMO trying to get the web2 crowd who does not care about tokens. If they can drive enough new users this could trickle down to the token price? I don’t have it all figured out, but I do believe this could turn out ok.
@PuNkYsHuNgRy The Macaroons get 3 years free.
@CoinChaser Yes
bob_carsyn
@CoinChaser I don’t have anywhere to deploy.
This is exactly what brings people to them, the controversy, the bad boy image. They are loving this.
Entropy is the only one I know anything about, thus my vote.
Are the others worth looking into. Kudos to the marketing team that came up with “Useless Brick”.
Going to reiterate ability to edit posts. Please

@Mediatech This is the AI answer: Running a miner on your own node allows you to take full control of your Bitcoin, enhancing security, privacy, and decentralization of the network. It also provides greater control over your transactions and can help verify the blockchain independently.
I just think it’s cool and since I have the node running to support the network, why not?
I solo mine to my Bitcoin node with my Bitaxe.
It’s like purchasing a bunch of lottery tickets each day and hoping for the best!
I have been thinking of jumping in here, definitely interested in hearing more.
Is there an actual usage/activity token reward, or is it just uptime and staking?
$1,850 is a bit steep all in, unit plus gold level staking, but if it if goes as stated above it’s a 6 month ROI (new system) which is pretty impressive.
Can this thread be bookmarked to the top, it’s pushing to the second page now.
“There would be nodes people can buy that would get hosted in data centers around the world” - This was the part I was referring to about not being decentralized, but I see your point. I do think while not important to all, it could be a differentiator not having “space in a datacenter”
I agree on the decentralization of governance, I was more speaking about hardware decentralization.
In the end, another high level product will just force both organization to innovate and differentiate.
I am looking forward to hearing more when you can share!
I do believe there is a lot of opportunity and excitement in the node projects. There are a couple of defining factors that I believe have drawn people to DeEEP.
Team did not take any VC money, team is fully doxed, and they have experience in this space/crypto (street cred)
Team strongly believes in decentralization - From what you have posted above that does not seem to be the case here.
DeEEP hardware is legit, while NXT may have a similar price point , will they have an Aethir type unit?
In the end more competition will just make everything better. I am interested to hear more.
"Competition drives innovation, and innovation drives progress." — Bill Gates
Is it worth it is tough to answer given they have clearly mentioned that it’s nothing. There is a post earlier where they broke one down and there is not much to it. It will be interesting to see with all the new people coming and the gate to entered being lowered, just money as opposed to having to go out and dig a hole. My prediction is it will be beneficial for some, but most people will probably not ROI. That being said, I bought 5 of them :)
Looks like this was announced
I struggle with this one, I know people want metrics, but not sure how you monetize how often you jerk off. Teenagers will get rich on this if that is the case :)
The $10 a month is for the DePin tokens (Prices will fluctuate) that are actually mined, you also will get $HVLO tokens via airdrop. That is the part I don’t have details on, that should increase the $$$$. The other thing is that they are continually adding new DePin tokens and optimizing. It’s still in beta, there could be higher rewards later. It could also just not have high rewards, unclear. DYOR :)
Does Onocoy require a clear view of the sky similar to Geodnet?
Two suggestions
Do a separate thread for each project. I understand this could become cumbersome
Give some indication in the forum of new activity, bold thread or something
It uses AI to mine different depin tokens, choosing the most profitable based on location, CPU, GPU, hard drive space, bandwidth, etc.. The better your specs are the more profitable it will be. You will be able to cash out those tokens or fiat equivalent sometime in the next couple months. They also give you Hivello points based on uptime, which will convert to $HVLO tokens at airdrops. (Next one is August) That’s the down and dirty.
I liked the idea of this, but where I struggled was understanding how the soil in my garden contributes. I get the farmland and areas where there is farmland in proximity, city and suburbs it seems like a stretch.
Same here!
Formatting that is above does not seem to carryover to the post. I used the bullets and when I submitted they were gone.
bob_carsyn
For the folks who said 0, do you believe the project will rug pull or just get oversaturated too quickly?
bob_carsyn
I was able to sell it on ebay and get my money back plus a couple bucks more. Still sad I could not deploy.
I definitely could of and should of. Just rushed into it, similar to entropy got FOMO. I need to calm the F’ down.
I got my device today, which is both exciting and disappointing. I made the mistake of not reading the fine print, which was actually not that fine. My location while from a map perspective is good, has a lot of tree coverage. Feedback I am getting is it’s not worth deploying or know it may not ever ROI. Lesson learned.
Is there a way to see the other members, I don’t want to send a code if someone is already in the group.
What am I looking for on the map to tell if the hex has not been “RTK fix”. Seems like this may favor folks in rural areas, but fills a need for them. Rewards seem light for the effort.
bob_carsyn
Does SkyX or Nubila bring anything new that weather xm does? i have not been able to discern that in my research. Flashy new kid on the block / being early does have appeal, but what substance?
I believe Dimo will be the leader here. They are the gateway to your vehicle data. It will require strong apps be built on thier platform. I do worry the manufacturers will ice them out at some point
